- Welcome to Musidots.
- Musidots is developed from something I saw on television not too long ago.
- The idea is to make music by 'painting' on to the screen. Each of the Amiga's
- four sound channels is represented by a red dot which travels across the
- screen.
- When this dot encounters a dot of another colour then it will play a note.
- The different colours correspond to the following notes :-
- Red - C
- Orange - D
- Yellow - E
- Light Green - F
- Green - G
- Blue - A
- Light Blue - B
- Violet - C
- These different colours can be selected with the keys 2 through 9.
- As well as these, the direction of the dots can be changed. White reverses
- the direction whilst peach and brown turn the dot through 90°.
- The speed can be changed using the gadgets. Dots can be turned on or off
- using the gadgets. The program is fairly self explanatory, try it and see.
- The program will work on any machine. However due to the age of AMOS, the
- program may not work first time on Workbench 3.x machines or above. If this
- is the case then please use the utility Embedder (© Bigma/Focus Design), by
- double clicking on the Embedder icon. Then drag the Musidots icon on to the
- Embedder box which should have just appeared.
-
- This program is written in AMOS.
